Since I was a teenager I remember standing in awe of the Irregular Choice displays in my local shoe stores and to be honest nothing has really changed. I love their quirky designs and attention to detail that makes their shoes so unique.
I was talking to a girl at work a couple of days ago about Irregular Choice's new collection for Spring/Summer. Not realising she was as much of a fan of their shoes as me, we were soon engrossed in conversation about our favourite designs and the little things that make the brand for us - for me it's the intricate designs on the soles of the shoes, its as though they're a secret between you and the shoe.
After a good browse around some of their new designs over at Sarenza I thought I would share some of my favourites with you. The new range is perfect for what will hopefully be a bright and warm spring and summer and the mix between rockabilly and vintage tea party fits in with everything I'm looking forward too this summer.
These shoes, to me, completely capture spring an long walks in the park. They're girlie and hopelessly cute. I really love the floral print and the touch of blue gingham on the toe. These would be perfect with a simple floaty dress or a skirt and floral shirt.
The Aphrodite shoes are like the perfect mix of rockabilly and Minnie Mouse - or is that just me? Whether pairing them with a pair of high waisted jeans or a pin up dress these seem ideal for summer get-togethers. I really love the detailing over the toes, something a little different from your average pair of open toed heels.
I'll be honest, the name of these shoes alone was more than enough for me love them. The bird print is adorable and I've always been a fan of blue and red together. I'd love to team these with a vintage tea dress and head down to my local tea rooms.
Like the Aphrodite pair, these shoes also have a kind of rockabilly feel - in fact they're making me desperate to watch cry Baby again! Polka dots are always a win for me and the added ankle strap means I won't be panicking about slipping out of my shoes.
The Fresh Cut Grass shoes are possibly the cutest design in Irregular Choice's SS collection. I love the birds and the bow detailing and the neutral colours give you so many options in terms of what to wear them with. I'm really loving pastels at the moment so these would be the perfect addition to my spring wardrobe.
Have you had a look at the new Irregular Choice collection yet? Sarenza has some gorgeous design to nose at here if you're feeling the need to shoegaze.
